i scream, you scream...

Someone buy Chris' ice cream maker.

don't be bitter about twitter

I love Twitter. Lots of people resent it as it's like a closed network of people sharing secrets. That's why it's great though. If you think about it, earning followers is like earning good feedback on eBay. The more you get, the more influence you have in the community. And the more you take part positively, the more followers, and influence, you get. Brilliant model. The best part? People that don't get it don't get involved. I agree with Scoble when he says it's like a big chat room.

Time to go add a load of people to follow. Watch out - I'm on a Twitter hunt. (Does that sound a bit rude?)

dopplr gets popplr

Just playing about with Dopplr. Works well. Nice interface. Fast and easy to use - a bit like Twitter, but with a point.

It does, however, makes me nervous that people I barely know are going to break in to my house while I'm away. Anyone want an invite? Promise I won't rob you. Honest.

two no-go logos

and one winner.

Seesmic founder Loic le Meur is inviting you to vote for the best attempt at a logo for his new company.

(Number two's obviously the best. It's all about reflective 'ledges' in the year of the Leopard...)

macbook = crackbook

How's a PR Geek supposed to get on and confidently pitch a client into a ServiceTalk feature if their Macbook is disintegrating?

There's a (nearly) gaping hole where my left wrist rests. And a crack already showing on the right.

This seems to be a common problem and all roads lead to a design flaw. Here's just a taste of the horror...

Fix a crack, lose your (i)Sight (check out how similar the damage is to mine!) Macbook flaking... Literally (it's the same again! weird!) the macbook crack (hang on a minute...) Another one (I bet it's in the same place) My MacBook was cracked by itself (seems to be in a different place - this time on the screen) MacBook wrist pad crack (one of the many forum threads about this)

And there's a Flickr group about it - My MacBook was cracked by itself. Doesn't Apple test its computers before it ships 'em out?

so kindle isn't a swindle?

Did anyone else think Kindle - Amazon's ebook reader - was a very late April Fools joke?

I had more advanced looking gadgets when I was seven years old. And that was over a decade ago. OK, two decades. OK, nearly three.

Who's doing PR for the Kindle I wonder? Glad they've already tried the old 'out of stock' trick.

But will that make up for Forbes naming it 'the anti-iPhone'. Classic.
