Friday, January 25, 2013 Facebook gets its shears out, cuts off Vine

Vine, Twitter's video sharing app, isn't really working for me yet. Aside from the fact that posting with sound is surprisingly stressful, I don't have any friends to share with yet.

I just read that Facebook has cut off the Twitter-owned Vine from allowing people to quickly add people from their Facebook friend list. I got that error last night and - because it looks like a bug - it put me off straight away.

To be clear, I think social video sharing is a great idea. But many have tried and none have succeeded so far.

Do you think it'll blow up? What would you change about Vine?
